Event Marketing: DC Addys

The joy of a successful event begins way before the doors open. I’ve had the opportunity to create immersive event experiences through unique invitations and event graphics. The DC American Advertising Awards, the ADDYs, partnered with HZ to design the annual event’s invitation suite. My design direction, themed as Friendly Competition, was chosen and implemented across the save the date and poster style invitation. In addition we created an interactive voting experience where users could upload work in a game of friendly competition.

Alexa's invitation design used a variety of different printing methods to create this unique set of Bat Mitzvah invitations. The combination of textures within the stock and the vivid color all combine to create a modern yet high end series of mail-out invites. In addition to the invitation, I consulted on the graphics for the event space and produced a website for added information.
